Cypress
Creek EMS has recently
renovated their 6,000 square
foot building used solely
for educational purposes.
This building consists of a
main classroom and
presentation forum capable
of seating 200 people, 4
satellite classrooms,
executive boardroom, and
skills laboratory.
EMS
education is instructed to
allow for the expansion of
the CCEMS membership as well
as updating the current
membership. Classes are
taught to Texas Department
of State Health Services (TDSHS)
standards and done under
TDSHS approval.
The

Technician – Basic (EMT-B)

CCEMS
trained nearly 250 people in
the field of EMS in 2005.
Cypress
Creek EMS has a TDSHS
approved continuing
education (CE) program to
keep the membership current
on CE according to state
standards. In addition to
the formal CE program, the
Education Center offers
special CE symposiums and
individualized CE training.
In order to serve the
medical community better,
classes are offered at no
charge to CCEMS members,
firefighters, nurses, etc.

We are not offering CPR or
EMT classes until Early 2009
Cypress
Creek EMS teaches American
Heart Association CPR and
First Aid to its membership
and to the community.
The
following classes are
taught:
A total of
2699 individuals were
trained in 2005. In
addition, CCEMS trained 41
CPR Instructors to help
increase this number in
2006.
The Cypress
Creek EMS Education Center
also hosts other classes
sponsored by CCEMS as well
as other community
organizations.
