The 1960 Parade Committee is excited to announce the upcoming 34th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade for Sunday, March 11th , 2012. The parade benefits Cypress Creek EMS Education Scholarship programs. Thanks to the community, the parade committee has raised over $100,000 over the last 5 years! Cypress Creek EMS is your non-profit, volunteer-based 9-1-1 ambulance service covering 250 square miles of North/Northwest Harris County. We respond to approximately 30,000 calls annually and serve over 500,000 people. Community support has always been at the core of our organization’s success. The parade begins at 2 p.m. and proceeds down FM 1960 from Champion Forest Drive to Kuykendahl. Last year, over 100 entries and at least 150,000 spectators attended the parade. This is one of the largest community events in the Houston area! Please come out and join us for a day of celebrating the community!
