When Seconds Count...Count
on Us!™
Vision of the Future
Cypress Creek EMS and the
citizens of Northern Harris
County had a 2007 to be
proud of. It was a year of
growth, full of medical
advancements, agency
expansion, and forethought.
Staff and volunteers have a
vision as a result of the
five year plan courageously
created by the CCEMS Board
of Directors,. That vision
will guide us to continue
our tradition of spectacular
pre-hospital emergency care.
On November 8, 2007 Cypress
Creek EMS and the community
celebrated a ground breaking
for a new 6 acre complex.
Scheduled to be completed in
January of 2009, the complex
will include administrative
offices, the new Charles R.
Hooks Education Center, the
Communications Center, and
an EMS Station. Having these
departments at a centralized
campus will provide the
community easier access to
all departments with a more
effortless flow of
information. In total, the
buildings will be
approximately 20,000 square
feet and filled with a
membership dedicated to
saving lives and preventing
injuries.
As the area continues to
grow, we are planning to
meet the needs of our
community. The new complex
will allow us to do just
that. >From a small
volunteer EMS service over
30 years ago, the leadership
of our Board of Directors,
combined with our dedicated
staff and volunteers, has
continued to provide cutting
edge, innovative emergency
medical care to those we
serve. The strong
relationship between Cypress
Creek EMS and the ESD-11
Board of Directors plans to
ensure that today, tomorrow,
and ten years from now, that
we are building on a
foundation of excellence.
I am so proud to help lead
CCEMS into the next phase of
its existence. Other public
service agencies, that we
have the honor of dealing
with on a daily basis, share
a common goal of saving
lives. This makes our job a
little easier, yet so much
more rewarding. CCEMS
management, staff, and
volunteers are the best of
the best. It is a privilege
to work along side each and
every one of them. I am
confident that Cypress Creek
EMS will continue to pave
the way for a bright future
for all who live in this
great community.
