2010 CCEMS Scholarshoip Golf ClassicOctober 25, 2010Cypress Creek EMS hosted a charity golf tournament to raise money for scholarships for Emergency Medical Service students. Spring, TX, October 18, 2010: The Cypress Creek EMS Scholarship Classic was blessed with great players, generous sponsors and beautiful weather! The CCEMS Scholarship Golf Classic, held at the Northgate Country Club, is one the fundraisers CCEMS relies on to provide scholarships to EMT and Paramedic hopefuls in our community. The 1960 St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the other crucial fundraiser for CCEMS, together with the Scholarship Golf Classic; CCEMS was able to provide scholarships, including books and tuition, to nine paramedic students and 16 EMT students this year. Allen Green, a current scholarship beneficiary says: “It has meant more than words can explain that I was chosen to receive a scholarship to be able to pursue my dream in becoming an EMT. I have been a Non-Medical Driver for about a year and a half with CCEMS and enjoy it! I have always wanted to pursue my passion for learning emergency medicine and to provide prehospital care when someone has needed it. Thru the Golf tournaments that CCEMS holds annually that helps raise money for the scholarship program, I was blessed to become a recipient of the scholarship. Thank you everyone that contributes to CCEMS scholarship program”!
