Cypress Creek EMS Open House – Building on our Commitment to Your Future

January 1, 2009

Spring, TX, January X, 2009 – Cypress Creek EMS will be celebrating the grand opening of a new complex located at 7111 Five Forks in Spring, on February 14, 2009. This new complex will include the administrative offices, the Charles R. Hooks Education Center, the Communications Center, as well as an EMS station. Having these departments at a centralized campus will provide the community and organization easier access to all. In total, the buildings will be approximately 20,000 square feet on six acres. With the new facility, the Education Center can continue to provide CPR, EMT, and Paramedic classes but now with greater flexibility and a technology-based skills lab. Both the community and future students will benefit from this new building. The new Communication Center will house fourteen dispatch consoles and provide dispatchers with some of the latest technological advances available to meet the growing needs of the community and organization. A new EMS station will also be on the property to help provide additional 911 coverage in an area with an already demanding call volume.

“This new campus will benefit Cypress Creek EMS and the community we serve long into the future and allow for our expected growth. Centralized training, dispatching, and administrative support in these expanded first class facilities will allow us to continue providing the excellent emergency care that has contributed to the high quality of life in the far north Harris County area,” states Gregory Marwill, President, Board of Directors.

On February 14, 2009, from 11am – 2pm, the public is invited to an Open House at the new facility. It will be a fun-filled event that the whole family will enjoy.

Cypress Creek EMS provides 9-1-1 ambulance service to a 250 sqaure mile area of northern Harris County with a population of 500,000 people.
