Cypress Creek EMS receives state recognition at the Texas EMS Conference.

Cypress Creek EMS was awarded the 2011 Texas EMS Private/ Public Provider of the year and their Medical Director, Dr. Levon Vartanian received Medical Director of the year.

Spring, TX, Dec 1, 2011:  Each year, at the Texas EMS Conference, the Office of EMS and Trauma Systems of Texas honors a person or organization that exemplifies the best that EMS/ trauma systems have to offer.  Cypress Creek EMS (CCEMS) was awarded the 2011 Texas Private/ Public Provider Award and Dr. Vartanian, their Medical Director, was awarded the Texas EMS Medical Director of the Year, for the second time in his career.  The Private/ Public Provider Award honors a ground or air EMS organization that demonstrates leadership in EMS patient care, public access, medical control, disaster preparedness, public education, or training.  The EMS Medical Director Award honors a physician who has served as a medical director, for an EMS organization and continually demonstrates a commitment to excellent patient care.
      
CCEMS and Dr. Vartanian graciously and humbly accept the awards with gratitude for each and every member and their contribution to the organization and to the community they serve.  Bradley J. England, the executive director of CCEMS says, “great organizations are built on the shoulders of great people and we have a lot to be proud of with our membership.  Our service area is truly blessed to have the care givers we have at CCEMS”.
   
Dr. Vartanian, together with the team of CCEMS continues to set the bar with advances in emergency medicine, education, training, protocols, and are dedicated to utilizing every resource to make a positive impact on the area they serve.  CCEMS is proud to represent the great state of Texas as the 2011 EMS Provider of the year and Dr. Vartanian as the 2011 Texas Medical Director of the year.
