Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

Cypress Creek Emergency Medical Services (CCEMS) Education strives to provide the most realistic training possible for the ACLS course. During the course the participants will be drawing up medications, administering medications, actually identify and shock or pace a patient, participating as a team leader and as a team member. CCEMS has both EMS style bags set up for EMS professionals and crash carts for the in-hospital professionals. ACLS and CCEMS greatly emphasize the importance of the team concept to resuscitation.
